Jerod has been working with The Sportsline intermittently since 1998 and has just recently joined the show on a much more consistent basis. Jerod brings a lot of different attributes and perspectives to the show, but his main responsibility is to help bring in some of the big time guests that listeners of the show have been accustomed to hearing talk with Rich and Larry.

Jerod, along with working with The Sportsline, is also currently attending Liberty University and working with Liberty’s student radio station and is doing play by play for the LCA High School Football Team.

Jerod has apparently tried to dub himself “JB Money” . . . why, we don’t quite know. What we do know however is that you don’t GIVE yourself a nickname on The Sportsline . . . at the appropriate time one is bestowed upon you . . . and that time has has finally come for young Jerod.  Trying to look cool and hip with that stupid Bluetooth device coming out of his ear has earned him the nickname "Bluetooth".  Obviously there is a need for such a device, if one is a big time business man like Gordon Gekko from the movie "Wall Street" but not for some punk college kid trying to look cool.  Brooks claims its necessary and extremely helpful . . . but really . . . he thinks the chicks dig it.

One surprising revelation already made by Bluetooth is that he is a big fan of Kelly Clarkson, of American Idol fame. Even though he claims that Hip Hop is his favorite kind of music, a trip to DC to see Ms. Clarkson in person really makes Rich and Larry wonder.

"Bluetooth" is also by far the biggest egomaniac on the show.  He has developed quite a tendancy for name dropping ... forcing Rich and Larry to dust off an old name drop sound effect just for him.  He has also revealed that he believes his name is worthy of being dropped by other!  Unbelievable!  Stay tuned to see if R&R can keep his runaway ego in check.
