"Luscious" Lillian Garcia

Luscious is a big baseball fan and became involved with The Sportsline back in 1996, when she met the guys at a Lynchburg Hillcats game.  Bob Sturm had lost a bet to Rich, and had to be a batboy for the Hillcats that day.  Lil started out working on The Saturday Sportsline, but was quickly bumped up to the weekday show.

Lillian has been on board with The Sportsline longer than anyone other than Rich and Larry, and has been one of the show's most valuable and versatile members.  She handles many of the off air responsibilities necessary for keeping the show on the air, as well hosting "best of" shows, engineering remote broadcasts and administering contests.

Luscious also frequently is asked to offer a "female perspective" to various topics being discussed on The Sportsline.  She tries to keep as much of her personal life off of the airwaves as possible, though occasionally she slips up and offers up little nuggets.  She has revealed that she has punched out guys in college, she will not engage in any lesbian activity for the good of the show or even for her fiancée, and has even commented on some of the surprising activities that actually DO take place at Band Camp.

Lil's full time gig, is as a music teacher and band director in the Amherst Public Schools.  She has also just recently married the mysterious Jericho, in Virginia Beach in November . . . although the lovely couple still maintain separate residences.  If only the rest of us married folks were wise enough to think of something like that!
