"The Comrade" Greg Ingber

Next to Luscious Lil, The Comrade has been on board with Rich and Larry longer than anyone.  He obtained his nickname as a sign of respect and friendship for The Sportsline's most left leaning member, as well as in recognition of him being born in a foreign land.  Greg hails from London, Ontario which of course makes him a Canadian.  Looking on the bright side ... at least he's not French.

In addition to ripping President Bush, Sean Hannity and all things conservative . . . The Comrade is a key member of The Sportsline.  Greg provides great balance on the show, and not only from a political perspective, on the rare instances in which Rich and Larry try to solve the problems of the world.  The Comrade frequently defends the existence and integrity of sports most people around here just don't give a damn about . . . like Soccer, Hockey and Tennis.  Plus he hates Dodgeball . . . now how un-American is that.

During The Sportsline's games and contests, The Comrade often serves as the lone voice of fairness and sportsmanship, which really frustrates Rich and Larry.  He has a zero tolerance policy for Shenanigans . . . unless those Shenanigans serve to screw (frequent caller) Wes, in which case he doesn't care that much.

The Comrade also plays a huge role during one of the best shows of the year:  The Song Parody Contest.   Greg serves as Musical Director of this great event, and does great job coordinating the evening and making sure each contest is ready to go.  When asked by anyone . . . including Wes!!! . . . he also plays guitar for performers in the Amateur Division.

Perhaps The Comrade's most important role on the show is as the official Safety Monitor.  Greg once made Intern Scotty "Too Hotty" ride all the way from Alta Vista to Lynchburg in the back seat . . . like Miss Daisy . . . because his passenger side seat belt wasn't functioning propertly.  Whenever he is in helping out on the show, The Comrade's number one responsibility is always to keep the hosts from burning down the studio.

Name:  Greg Ingber
Nickname:  The Comrade
Job:  Field Reporter/Production Ninja/Minister of Propaganda
Favorite Sports to Watch:  Hockey, Tennis, Soccer
Favorite Sports to Play:  Soccer, Tennis, Hockey (noticing a pattern?)
Hobbies:  Poker, playing guitar, Making fun of Sean Hannity
Most Embarrasing Moment:  I was defeated by Rich and Larry in a tennis match.  An IMAGINARY tennis match that was played inside Rich Roth's head.  If  Rich and Larry ever played me in a REAL tennis match they  would be humiliated in a most disgraceful manner.
Hidden Talents:  I have Madd Beatboxing Skillz and once backed up MC
Easy Ed on a live freestyle session during the Sportsline.  This was
the first (and probably the last) rap freestyle session that occurred
on the program.
