Calvin Johnson, Natalie Gulbis, Stacy Compton & The Bluetooth Verdict
Friday, 27 April 2007

Today on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 65 days and counting ... but tonite's show is packed an opens up with an interview with Calvin Johnson, WR for GT, who is up in NY preparing for Saturday's NFL Draft.  Johnson, projected to go 2nd to Detroit, talked about the buzz up in New York over the draft and the opportunity that has been afforded him.

Up next, R&R talked some NASCAR Fantasy ... including running down the details of the online contest for listeners to win tickets to the Coca-Cola 600.  Also, the verdict finally came in on Bluetooth's cheating ways ... after much deliberation and all general managers weighing in with their opinions ... Bluetooth's team got to stay in the Chase, but was relegated to last place entering and he needed to committ to starting Tony Raines in each of the 3 races during the course of the chase.

Fantasy Friday featured one of the budding stars on the LPGA Tour ... Natalie Gulbis.  Natalie talked about her busy schedule, her tremendous work ethic and how she believes she is closing in on her first tour win.  Natalie is very much looking forward to playing at Kingsmill in the Michelob Ultra Championship later on in may ... and said that the only folks to complain about the contents of her calendar is upper management at WLNI-FM, the flagship station for The Sportsline.

Stacy Compton of ESPN dropped by in a show of support for his GM, Bluetooth.  Rich and Larry both expected Stacy to throw Jerod under the bus for screwing up his fantasy team, but Stacy took the high road and supported his guy.  Stacy also touched on the "unfortunate" comments made by Tony Stewart earlier in the week and previewed Sunday's race in Talladega.
