Clint Bowyer, Ryan O'Halloran & ODAC Golf Championship at Poplar Grove
Wednesday, 25 April 2007

Today on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 67 days and counting ... the Yankee bashing continues in the early going of today's show.  Larry also reveals that he has been watching American Idol ... which according to Rich is nothing for him to be ashamed of because of the other TV viewing habits he has which are much more embarrassing.  R&R also unveil the contest online where listeners can win tickets to the Coca-Cola 600.

Clint Bowyer, driver of the 07 Jack Daniels car is up next on the show.  He talked about his love of dirt track racing, said the COT drives as ugly as it looks and said that his goals this year are to win his first Cup race and qualify for the Chase.  R&R also talk a little NFL draft in this segment, with both guys agreeing that Brokeback Brady Quinn is the best QB in the draft and that JaMarcus Russell is not worth the number 1 pick.

John Gattis, LB for Wake Forest is late checking in for his interview on the show ... so Double R and the Legend start talking a little ODAC golf.  While playing up at Poplar Grove this past Sunday, Rich finished his round (a lackluster 91) and saw the scores posted for the ODAC championship.  Emory and Henry's average score for the day was about 110 and they even had a player who carded a 170 ... that's right, NO TYPO HERE ... 170 for an 18 hole round of golf.  Apparently he lost all of his balls and was 45 over par after 6 holes.  Someone sign Bluetooth up for a scholarship.

More NFL Draft talk with Ryan O'Halloran of the Washington Times who closely covers the Redskins.  O'Halloran really nailed it to the management of the Skins saying it looks like their strategy is simply throwing darts at a board.
