Today on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 90 days and counting ... but tonite is mainly about the national championship game in college hoops. Rich is all about the Gators tonite and Jerod is on board as well sporting his UF t-shirt. Larry is pulling for the Buckeyes being an admitted Ohio State Bandwagon fan. Larry tries to point the Bandwagon Finger at Double R and Bluetooth for being Carolina fans ... but gets tripped up by his own criteria which includes you must have lived in the area. Rich, having lived in Chapel Hill, shoots down Larry's Bandwagon assertion ... and points out that Larry can pull for Rutgers without being considered a bandwagon fan since he lived in Jersey. Double R's two main reasons for pulling for the Gators tonite include 1: Erin Andrews is a Gator, and has been beating the guys up for a few weeks now with all the Gator talk ... and she is really hot, and there are much worse reasons to root for a team than really hot girl ... and 2: Florida is everything that is right with college sports right now. All of the guys decided to forgo the NBA last year, because they love college and wanted to make another run at the title. Compare that to Greg Oden who is only in college for 1 year because the rules dictate that he must be, before entering the NBA draft. Go Gators. Up next is Erin Andrews, on tape from Minnesota where she will be broadcasting Monday Night Baseball on ESPN. She filled Rich's head with more Gator talk before signing off predicting a big win for Florida. The rest of the week is shaping up nicely as the Masters takes place later in the week and John Feinstein will drop by the show, as will Joe Gannascoli who played 'Gay Vito' in the Sopranos and will preview the upcoming final season for the great HBO Show. Bobby Bowden will also be dropping by the show later in the week. David Teel, columnist for the Newport News Daily Press continued the tradition of hooking up with R&R live from the National Championship Game. Rich opened up the interview by asking Teel who he liked tonite ... UCLA or Georgetown ... the two teams David picked to play in the Championship Game. Nice Rich ... way to insult the guest ... don't worry though Teel will strike back. Rich then asks David to start agreeing with him, and David drops the hammer by saying that he will once Double R says something that actually makes sense. Touche. David picks Florida big tonite. Up next Rich and Larry ran down the scenarios for Bracketmania. Basically if you don't have the winner, and the championship game exactly right, you have no chance. You also need to have at least 3 of the Final Four and 6 of the elite 8 to be in the running. If you don't, then don't even bother. Nascar Fantasy standings wrapped up the show.
