Al Groh, Skip Holtz & Chris Wallace
Thursday, 30 August 2007
Thursday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... much more college football as R&R open up the show talking about the Hokies, their schedule and the week 2 showdown in Death Valley against 2nd ranked LSU.  Double R and the Legend also reveal some winners from PromoMania yesterday as The Ass Expert bounced the 2 seed, The Jersey Bashfest.

UVA head coach Al Groh checked in prior to heading out to Wyoming for the season opener this weekend against Wyoming.  Groh was a little defensive right off the bat proclaiming that last year is in the past, and we need to focus on this year's team and players.  Groh also felt that the season opener against Wyoming would be another tough test ... as both teams have faced similar problems and solutions at the QB position.

After a little more PromoMania, Skip Holtz the ECU head coach dropped by the show and talked about opening up in Blacksburg this weekend.  After knocking off UVA at home last year, Holtz said that he would love nothing more than to sweep the Virginia schools, but is not loving this matchup with Tech right off the bat.  Like most coaches, he would prefer a much easier game in week 1.

More PromoMania ... then Chris Wallace of CavsCorner.com checked in to talk some more UVa.  Wallace really likes the Cavs this year ... going 1 better than Rich and Larry ... picking UVa to win 8 games, starting off with a W at Wyoming.  R&R wrap it up with one more matchup in PromoMania.
