Tuesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... more fallout during the opening of the show on Mike Vick and his guilty plea which officially took place Monday in Richmond. Plus R&R throw in a little Sweet 16 PromoMania action as The Waterboy takes on The Motion Offense. Up next, UVA Quarterback Jameel Sewell dropped by the show, and talked about this years training camp vs. last year, now that he is the starting QB. Sewell also said that he feels that he has become a student of the game, and that will allow him and his team to be better than they were last year. Jameel also said that UVA fans can expect to see a more poised QB behind center this year. PromoMania continued as The Apologist took on The Tennis Balls. Bill Roth, voice of the Hokies dropped by the show to kick off hour number 2. Bill expects the ACC to be a stronger conference this year than it was last year and predicted that noone will look good against Tech's Defense. Roth also speculated that the fallout from the Michael Vick situation and the tragedy back in April could actually take some pressure off this team. Erick Smith of the USA Today also dropped by to talk some football on the national scene. Really likes USC, like everyone else ... and feels that VT is more in the running for a BCS game than the national title. PromoMania continues as The Drunk Intruder takes on The Inarticulate One to wrap up the show. |
