Today on The Sportsline, Chris Wallace of CavsCorner.com sat in with Rich as the Legend began an extended holiday vacation. The Cavs were a big topic of conversation today, as they dropped another brutal loss down in Puerto Rico ... this time to the mighty Utah Utes, another double digit debacle. Whitey Reid of the Charlottesville Daily Progress joined Rich and Chris from San Juan after witnessing the carnage, and reported that in addition to the Cavs getting poor guard play and not playing any defense, Jerry Ratcliffe was reporting that some of the UVA players were enjoying the nightlife in San Juan a little to much and that might be a big part of the reason why UVA was struggling so much down in PR. In addition to giving some great insight on the Cavs hoops program, Wallace dished out a few tidbits that he was reporting on CavsCorner.com on the UVA football squad ... including the nugget that Al Groh was speding some time up in the Hoosier state, studying the Purdue offense and trying to pick up some tips for his unit which struggled mightily. Randy Cross of CBS Sports also dropped by the show to talk some NFL. He touched on the playoff scenarios, and how they seem to get wilder and more complicated each week ... rather than getting easier. He also ripped TO a little bit, as RR threw him the softball.
