Today on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 124 days and counting. R&R opened todays show amazed at how close we are to the beginning of the ACC Tournament and of course the big dance just a week later. Somehow the topic of Pete Gillen possibly being the next head coach at Liberty University came up on the show, which had Rich lead everyone in a quick prayer that Pete would in fact be the next coach at LU. How great would that be for the show! Ken Tysiac of the Charlotte Observer dropped by the show to talk some ACC hoops. Ken said that the amount of depth that the Tarheels have was never really much of a concern to him ... and he feels that Roy's squad isn't quite ready for the big dance just 4 or 5 games away. He feels that Carolina relies too much on Freshman down the stretch ... and that could wind up hurting the Heels in the tourney. Tysiac answered Larry's patented question about backcourts ... thought Tech's dynamic duo is a little bit more physical and experienced than UVA. It's always a treat on The Sportsline when Mr. Skin makes an appearance ... and tonite was no exception. Mr. Skin revealed his 8th annual Anatomy Awards including Breast (no typo here) Picture ... drumroll please ... American Pie presents The Naked Mile. Skin said that this was a run away, as the sheer number of boobs and buns made this an easy choice. Skin also announced the winners for best nip slip and nude-comer of the year. Plus he announced that coming in March, the field of the 64 best nude scenes of all time will square off March Madness-style, with votes being cast at mrskin.com . In the final half hour of The Sportsline ... R&R ran down the new Nascar Fantasy League Standings, presented by ABC 13 WSET. There has been some movement ... although the Intern Team, captained by Bluetooth still remains at the bottom of the pile. This led into a discussion of the commercial Rich saw in which NASCAR celebrates Black History Month. Ironic was the best word that Double R could find to describe this phenomonan ... while the Comrade was quick to jump in and wonder why NASCAR would work with urban youths ... to teach them to drive faster. Lots of stereotypes insued after this ... as you might imagine.
