Segment 1 Rich starts off the show by saying that the Pats are on a bye week this week. Speaking of the Pats why not strike up the band. Also Larry still can't get into College Hoops season because there is still football in the NFL to be played. Rich and Larry then start talking about the horrible weather (1 inch of snow) that hit the Burg (Lynchburg) yesterday and how everything was closed. Segment 2 Virginia has to beat Boston College tomorrow or else they will start the season off at 0-3 in the ACC. Sportsline history moment, in 2006 they gave away UNC/UVA basketball tickets and last year they played a Patriots fan who goes nuts with a profanity laced tirade directed at all non-Pats fans!!! Segement 3 Boston College Head Coach Al Skinner drops by the show to talk about Saturday's game against Virginia. Coach also discusses the tough non-conference schedule with Providence, Umass, and Kansas, Skinner says that it's that type of schedule that will get his team ready for the NCAA tourney. Skinner also discusses what his team has to do to beat the Cavs and how to stop Sean Singletary. Segement 4 Last Night Rich and Larry had Chris Wallace of Cavscorner.com on the show and he said that he was 75% sure that Mike London would be the new H.C at Richmond and just a few minutes ago www.richmondspiders.com Also today on a ton of message boards the hot rumor is that Anthony Poindexter is going to go with London to Richmond and be the new Def Cord. Rich has been wondering all week why would one guy leave to be a Cordinator at an 1-A school and then a Cordinator would leave to be the H.C at an 1-AA School. Segment 5 Fantasy Friday with WWE Divia Michelle McCool and she reveals to Rich and Larry that she was watching TV and saw a commericial for the contest and her friend was like you will do not that. Well she did and has come a long way, Michelle was also a teacher at the time. Michelle says that her passion and her girl next door look won her over the top. Also Michelle has never said no to anything that the WWE has asked her to do, she says maybe she is stupid or something. She is having a great time right now and she will stay around as long as her body will let her and the company will keep her. Segment 6 Short segment but we always get something out of every segment and we learn that Larry doesn't know Florida's state motto " The Sunshine state" Segment 7 Mike Sando of ESPN.com drops by to talk about the upcoming conference championship games. He likes the Chargers attitude this week with there no care attitude and how they have approached this week because the pressure is not on them. The Giants look like they left alot on the field last week in Dallas so it should be pretty tough for them. Randy Moss and his situation hasn't gone the way they wanted it to go and they tried to settle this quitely and she wanted half a mil but Randy's camp would only give $100k. Mike foresees that it will be the Packers and the Pats in the Super Bowl. Segment 8 Time for the boys to make there picks for the weekend. Both Guys think that both teams will cover. |
