Segment 1 Kicked off the show talking NFL playoffs from the weekend. Would Bill Cowher be a good fit in Indy if Dungy decides to leave Colts? How do the Colts lose to a Chargers team WITHOUT Phillip Rivers, without LT and WITH the lead in the 4th quarter? Virginia hoops talk on the way and the rest of the ACC will be covered and of course more NFL talk. Some great audio from the NFL weekend from not only the cry baby T.O, but also Wade Phillips. Segement 2 What was more shocking, the Colts chocking or the Giants choking. Rich and Larry argue about who is right about the 3rd and long the Colts had in their game against the Chargers. Segement 3 Rich has come close to admitting his well documented drinking problem! Larry is still saying there was a 15 yard penalty on the Colts late in the 4th quarter. How about them Cowboys!!?? It has now been 12 years since the Cowboys have won a playoff game. Terrel Owens breaks down about his QB Tony Romo and then cries like a baby. "Its not fair....THATS MY QUARTERBACK!! We lost as a team man!" Blaming Romo for the loss is terrible...but questioning Jeff Garcia's sexuality is perfectly OK. TO claims he has had good relationships with all of his quarterbacks. This is quite possibly one of the funniest thing I have ever heard. Harry of Lynchburg is a Cowboys fan and he doesn't want to judge the whole season on that one game. Wade Phillips feels the best team won AND that the Cowboys outplayed the Giants...again another comical quote from somebody from the Cowboys. Larry thinks Wade Philips is a joke. Tom Brady breaks Phil Simms' record for completion percentage in a playoff game ... but amazingly only Double R knows this. Segement 4 Real short segment due to Rich and Larry not shutting up. Segement 5 Chris Myers joins the Sportsline to talk about the NFL from this past weekend and preview the upcoming NFC Championship from Lambeau Field, where he picks the Packers to go to the Superbowl. Segement 6 Jim Hobgood joins the Sportsline to talk UVA and the ACC. Jim talks about Duke and how Coach K has been able to really implement his defensive schemes with the depth that he enjoys. UVA needs to get more production from other places aside from Singltary. Jim says that his concern will quickly turn into panic if UVA doesn't win their next two games. UVA has not seemed to adapt to ACC play very well. 2 home games this week are very critical. Segement 7 Another Tech Corner going pro as Victor Harris declares for the NFL draft. Tom Weir from the USA Today joins the sportline taking NFL. Weir says a penalty being overlooked a facemask penalty called in Indy that really kept the final drive going for the Chargers. It helped the Chargers this weekend that they played in a dome. Weir doesn't think that the Chargers will have the same kind of success in cold Foxboro. How much of the feelings LT had after the game last year will go into this next game? Weir hasn't heard any of the kind of talk around the Chargers. All the Chargers care about is making it to the Super Bowl and just trying to figure out a way to slow down Tom Brady. What quote is the most memorable quote from the weekend? Weir can't help but take a shot at T.O. and how could you not?? It is so incredibly easy. Wade Philips....the best team lost...wow. Larry holds coaches to a different standard then athletes...so to Larry I guees Wade's comments are worst then T.O's....come on T.O. wins hands down...Caos errupts. Larry goes on an on about how great Tom Brady is....what else is new?? Reggie Nelson of Jacksonville did say that any QB could do what Brady did...that is pretty bonehead... Segement 8 The end...nothing |
