Segment 1 Larry still blames the Redskins for the Giants making it all the way to the Super Bowl. Larry is feeling much better today then he did yesterday.....he isn't trying to kill Rich for wearing the 18-1* hat. Big national signing day show tomorrow...Blueberry comes in to talk about it, but first he compliments Rich's lovely 18-1* hat. Lots of great guests lined up for tomorrow's big show...you won't want to miss this one. Segment 2 Full house here at the Sportsline....Rich and Larry of course....Slappy, Blueberry and Jesse are here as well....too bad Teaser Mike couldn't make it. Wes joins us for a quick history moment. Segment 3 Big parade in New York today....not sure what that was all about!?? Bob Knight retires from coaching and for some reason Larry isn't a fan of Knight yet he likes Belichick...hmmmm. Bobby Knight has always done things the right way and never was accused of ncaa violatins...has had so many assistants/former players go on to be great coaches. Segment 4 Trying to get a guest on the phone....not looking like its happening. Slappy says he is driving in...Slappy doesn't know what he is talking about. Segment 5 Ken Murray of the Baltimore Sun joins the Sportsline to talk Redskins and NFL. Ken believes that Dan Snydor waited this long to choose someone to take the head coaching job for the Redskins and with as well as the Giants defense played this past weekend Spagnuolo has got to be the lead candidate for the Redskins head coashing job. Likes the direction that the Ravens are going..thinks things will improve. Segment 6 Hokies only have 8 points with less then 8 minutes left in the first half against NC State. Big signing day tomorrow....always so great!! Segment 7 Rich talks about the 2003 NFL draft and reads off the first round draft picks to just help prove how much of a crap shoot college recruiting is...Lots of aruging over who is and who isn't an NFL bust. Rich and Larry decides about a thrid of the first round picks are hits....And the guys in the NFL are putting tons of money into scouting..much more then they can do in college football. SO how much more of a crap shoot is it in college football?? I think you can tell what Rich and Larry think... Segment 8 More signing day talk....Its a crap shoot...who knows how the players signed tomorrow will pan out for their respective teams....but its still a whole lot of fun. Tomorrow's show should be great. |
