Roger Mason, Staton Jobe, David Elfin & Rich's Christmas Tales
Thursday, 27 December 2007
Segment 1:
Back live!  Orange Bowl preview:  Rich isn't so excited by the Jayhawks matchup.  Review of all the exciting bowl games Rich didn't bother to watch.  Most of them he's happy he missed.

Segment 2:
Rich hits the outlets, but it's OK:  because he only did it to avoid his family.  Comrade and Blueberry agree that this is acceptable.  Sportsline History Moment, Wes won a 360, because Larry let him in a contest while Rich was out of town.

Segment 3:
David Elfin, Washington Times, talks some Skins.  Elfin *really* doesn't want to go to Seattle for playoff games.  Dallas vs. Skins:  who will Dallas play, who will they rest?  If Washington gets into playoffs, may face Dallas again. Skins defeat of Vikings gives them some great momentum heading into this Dallas game.  Rich asks:  "would it be just like the Redskins to lose this game"?

Segment 4:
What has Roger Mason Jr. been up to since UVA?  Drafted by Bulls, shoulder injury, now getting some decent playing time for the Wizards.  Career high last night, so great time to catch up with him coming up in the next segment.

Segment 5:
Blueberry once went to Times Square for New Years.  Very disappointing although he claims that he's glad he did it once.  Roger Mason Jr., former UVA hoops star checks in, now playing for the Wizards.  Early career frustrations including injury.  New career in DC, getting a chance to start.

Segment 6:
Recap of the whole Pigskin Pickem contest, how we got to the final draft and to the winner, Richard.  We congratulate Richard for his win and he is hooting and hollering with joy.

Segment 7:
A festive holiday nugget from Rich:  His son called Rich's brother a "bastard" over the holidays, as well as busting out a lot of Pro Wrestling references.  Then, we talk to Staton Jobe, WR from UVA.  His father and brother went to Texas Tech, so there's a lot of family bragging rights up for grabs in UVA's Gator Bowl matchup vs. the Red Raiders.

Segment 8:
Closing out the show, previewing tomorrow's program which will feature lots of UVA - Texas Tech talk plus some Redskins as well.
