Bobby Hebert talks Saints, A young woman named Doris & The "Brady is Gay" jar makes a buck
Wednesday, 10 January 2007

Today on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... lots more talk about the terms of the bet and what Rich is and isn't allowed to say about Tom Brady's gay-ness.  Only 172 days until all of this nonsense is behind us and Rich and take aim on Tom Gady again.

Early on today's show ... we also learned that Danny Boy is dating a woman named Doris ... who he claims is only 30 years of age.  Larry wondered about that ... as he believes that anyone named Doris must be at least 60 and a grandmother.  Danny also complained about Doris hanging topless Tom Gady posters in her bathroom ... making him very uncomfortable.

Former Saints QB Bobby Hebert, now a talk show host down in New Orleans at WWL Radio, joined Double R and the Legend for a few minutes on the show. Right off the bat, Hebert picked the Saints to beat Philly by at least 10 points, saying that the Saints are just flat out a better team.  Hebert also talked about the impact that the Saints have had on the community of New Orleans following Katrina, both on the field and off it ... as a number of the players and coaches have made big impacts in the community.

Doug Doughty, UVA beat writer for the Roanoke Times kicked off the second hour of the show, live from route 86 around Hillsborough, on his way down to Chapel Hill for the UVa-UNC game.  After taking a few minutes to make some comments about Larry's extended vacation over the holidays to attend the big porn convention ... Doug got down to business.  He predicted that UVA would get blown out down in Chapel Hill by the Heels, and feared that the Hoos might even trail by as many as 30 in the FIRST HALF!!! Doughty pointed out that at this stage of the season for UVA, the upcoming game at home against Maryland is much more important that playing on the road in Chapel Hill, as the Hoos have a chance and should win the Maryland game.

Finally on tonite's show ... Tom Gady came up again.  Bluetooth entered the studio to try and get a "Brady is Gay" joke in ... but Larry wouldn't turn on his microphone. After a lenghty discussion about the Charger-Pats game, Rich made the comment that he felt Brady might be distracted by San Francisco.  Larry immediately pointed out that Rich should have to put a buck in the "Brady is Gay" jar for violating his bet.  Rich protested, but alas, everyone agreed that the San Fransisco comment was a "Brady is Gay"  joke, and not an innocent comment about his love of trolley's as Rich claimed.
