Today on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry, 165 days and counting until Rich can legally crack on Tom Gay-dy's sexuality again. R&R tried to unveil some new Tom Gay-dy sound bytes from Phil Simms today ... but due to some engineering technical difficulties ... those sound bytes did not make it onto the air. Rich also talked about the upcoming Fantasy Friday guest this week ... Sheila Kelley. One of her movies "Dancing at The Blue Iguana" was on HBO late at night, and he planned on catching it to "prep" for the interview. He also pointed out that this week Fantasy Friday would be as much for the ladies as it is for the guys. Dan Bonner, college hoops analyst for Raycom dropped by the show to talk about the Cavs big win the previous evening against Maryland. Bonner pointed out that it is a quality win, although he thinks the Cavs will need to win at least 9 ACC games to make the NCAA tourney this season. He also expected the Hokies to keep the momentum going following a big week last week against Dook and Carolina. Bonner also said that he thinks that Sean Singletary could very well be the best guard in the nation. Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports joined R&R to talk a little NFL Playoffs, and the decision to keep Marty Schottenheimer as coach of the Chargers dominated much of the conversation ... with Jason wondering what exactly the Chargers were thinking bringing him back. Cole picked the Colts and the Saints to hook up in the SuperBowl ... and said he is sick and tired of the Patsies. Rich and Larry also checked in live down in Tallahasse for a couple of updates with Sam Lane, ripped the wierdness of the entire staff and Rich even admitted to being a pervert. |
