Lots of trash talk on today's show ... as it is the final show before the big playoff game between the Jets and the Patriots. Rich apparently is a believer (or at least a homer) in the Jets chances to "end the era" of the Patriots up in Foxborough. Larry gives the Jets and Eric "Man-Genius" no chance against the Pats.
Details of the big bet finally get worked out at the end of the show and really are quiet simple: If the Jets beat the Pats, then at the open of Monday's show, Larry must do a sincere and heartfelt J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets cheer ... which will then be archived for posterity. Should the Pats do the unthinkable, and win a home playoff game against the Jets, then a moratorium will be placed on Rich from Tom GAYdy bashing though the end of June on the show.
Bill Reynolds of the Providence Journal dropped by the show to preview Sunday's game as well, and much like everyone else, gave the Jets very little chance against the Pats. He also talked quiet a bit about the developing rivarly between Bill Belichick and former protege Eric Mangini. Reynolds pointed out that progress is actually being made by Belichick to thaw his frosty attitude toward Mangini, as he actually called him by his first name during a press conference this week.
Fantasy Friday featured a hot little actress, model and Perfect 10 boxer, Naureen "The Dream" Zaim. Naureen talked about the unusual combination of being a really hot actress and model, along with a real boxer. She pointed out that she is still undefeated in the ring, and has sparred with some pretty big time actors, including David Duchovney, Ben Stiller and Gary Shandling. Both Rich and Larry guessed that Ben Stiller was the biggest lightweight in the ring, but Naureen assured them that Stiller was in pretty good shape as he was training for Dodgeball. Duchoveny she said, could be a pro boxer ... but Shandling didn't really pack much of a punch. Naureen also talked about being topless in Wedding Crashers, and her first scene with Owen Wilson was her spread out, nude on the bed. Awkward was the word she used to describe it.
