Today on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry, we are down to 164 days until RR is free to unleash the fury with all of the Tom Brady is gay jokes you can handle.  

In the opening half hour of the show, Rich and Larry talk about the disappointment that they, along with most Hokie fans, must be feeling after the letdown in Tallahassee on Wednesday as Tech followed up a great week the previous week with wins over Dook and UNC, with a tough loss to swallow to Florida State.  While knocking off both Dook and UNC in the same week really helps the Hokies on their way to the NCAA, they can't take it for granted and still must win games to get in.  Rich also points out to all fans of Grey's Anatomy ... that whenever they see Sandra Oh's character "Christina Yang" they should think "Great Nipples" as RR caught a glimpse of her nubbins in "Dancing at the Blue Iguana".

Ruben Brown, former EC Glass Hilltopper and one of the star OL for the Chicago Bears dropped by prior to the NFC Championship game. Ruben talked about the fact that he hasn't seen much warm weather during the season, as after leaving Lynchburg, he went to college at Pittsburgh and then has spent his NFL career in Buffalo and Chicago.  Brown talked about this team feeling a sense of a mission after losing a home playoff game last year, and feeling somewhat vindicated after knocking off Seattle.  Brown also defended Rex Grossman, saying that the team is totally behind him and supportive of him and said that his New Year's Eve comments were somewhat taken out of context.  Ruben also said that he has plenty of football left in him, and he plans on coming back again next season.  Following Ruben's interview, R&R broke down the NFC Championship game a bit more, talking about the great run for the Saints, and the fact that they might have some trouble with the conditions up in Chicago.

Solomon Wilcots, of CBS Sports and the NFL Network also joined Rich and Larry on the show.  Solomon will be the sidleine guy for the AFC Championship game on Sunday ... and he picked the Colts to finally get over the hump and knock off the Patsies.  Wilcots said that he likes the Saints as well ... as their offense is clicking on all cylinders and he feels that will continue against the Bears defense, which has been struggling of late.

The big sports news story of the day was how Michael Vick got busted in the Miami airport with weed hidden in a fake water bottle.  Rich really went off on the stupidity shown by Vick ... not so much with smoking or possessing pot ... but by getting caught with it.  Such a small amount, Rich felt he should have just tossed it out so it never could have been a problem ... and another huge PR hit for the underachieving Vick.  Larry wondered what name Vick gave the cops ... since Ron Mexico was already  taken. "Melvin" checked in via the phone once again ... and shared a story or two about his days in the league ... and pointed out how the kids today have no idea how to deal with all the $$$ they get now-a-days.

R&R also previewed Friday's show featuring Sheila Kelley of S factor ... an actress turned workout guru who's workout for women is based on stripping, pole dancing and lap dancing.  Yeah Baby!  Wes checked in to bash Tom Gay-dy a little bit ... plus we heard a profanity laced tired from a drunk Patriot fan (aren't they all?) ripping all 'Patriot Haters' while stumbling all over his f-bombs and rediculous hyperboles.  Now it all makes sense.
