Segment 1 -
Rich and Larry have a new poll question on www.sportslineradio.com after last nights stupidity of our staff. Rich asks the question which one is worse. The fact that Nasty Nick did not know who Mark Rypien was, (Super Bowl MVP of 1992)  or that Teaser Mike didn't know who Sam Huff was (He called him Sam "Ruff").  


Segment 2
Nick calls in and gets the platform to prove why not knowing why Mark Rypien is not as bad as not knowing who Sam Huff is. Nick really didn't change the minds of Rich and Larry, as his main defense was that nobody in 10 years will know who Deion Branch is. Nice try Nick but face it you need to brush up on your sports history


Segment 3
This day in Sportsline History, Wes reveals that Larry's wife try to perform a Voodoo act and guess whether or not Rich's first child was going to be a boy or a girl.  B.J calls in and says he hates the BCS and doesn't understand why every other divison in college football can have a playoff system but why can't FBS football.

Segment 4
Rich is not a fan at all of the new 8 team playoff in college football being proposed by the Georgia President. Rich wants a 4 team playoff that starts BEFORE the Bowl games and doesn't want to hear that the kids need more time to study.

Segment 5
UVA Head Coach Dave Leitao talks about the upcoming game with Duke to open up ACC play on Sunday.  Coach also talked about where he feels the Cavs are at half way through the season ... and also touched on what practice was like following the beatdown by Xavier saying "It was fun for me ..."

Segment 6
Branden Ore in the courtroom to testify on federal drug charges against a friend of his more on this in Segement 7 and 8.

Segment 7
Rich doesn't want to put Virginia Tech players in the same group but it seems like every year there are a few players who are in trouble with either drugs or gun possesion and normal college kids or even football players at other schools don't typically seem to be in the  "wrong place at the wrong time" as much as the Hokies.

Segment 8
Angela Hatcher from WSLS channel 10 was in the courtroom today and said that this case is getting pretty crazy. Basically Ore was friends with Tony Majette and that he was simply going for a ride with Majette and got pulled over by the cops and Majetter throw a bag of cocaine on Ore's lap. The defense is saying that they were going to get Weed and speculating that the crack could have been Ore's.
