Segment 1 College athletes leaving early for pro drafts. Rich and Larry talk about silly NCAA violations. Of course who could resist hearing TO crying again? Not Rich and Larry....more laughter over T.O. crying. It doesn't get old. Segment 2 A little more NFL talk starts up once again...and of course Larry loves the Patriots. Segment 3 Kicks off with UVA basketball talk. Larry Weisman from the USA Today drops by the show and talks about the history of Lambaeu Field and just the amazing atmoshphere that can be experienced on gameday in Green Bay. The guys also talk more about the many other NFL coaching vacancies. Larry asks Weisman which statement is more out there...T.O. or Wade Philips....its impossible...both are completely ridiculous. And finally the guys get Weisman picks....his Picks? The Packers and Patriots... Segment 4 The guys talk about how going to Lambeau field for a playoff game would be up there with Fenway park. And not much else..... Segment 5 Larry is trying to decide if he wants to endure the cold up in New England for the Pats game this weekend ... only 1 thing is missing ... he doesn't have tickets. Slappy is trying to work his magic for Larry. I don't trust him. Mike Burnup checks in to talk some college hoops and virginia tech hoops with the big UVA/Tech game tomorrow night in Charlottesville. Also some talk about Tech's bowl game somehow made it into the conversation, as did Macho Harris' reversal and announcement that he will in fact be back at VT next year. The guys finally get to previewing tomorrow's Tech/UVA game and the rest of the ACC as well. Segment 6 Rich and Larry are trying to figure out whats funny....I think Slappy is to blame. Segment 7 Jerry Ratcliffe from the C'Ville Daily Progress joined the guys this segment for some talk some UVA hoops. The guys covered the Duke game from last week and the upcoming ACC schedule for UVA. Should be an interesting ride as the conference season is kicking into full gear. The interview wrapped up with some UVA football talk and what the future holds. Segment 8 Lebron is growing on Rich ... I mean who hasn't gone over 100 mph??? Its no big deal! |
