Monday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... R&R are back from a little well deserved R&R of their own and open up the show talking about a variety of topics, including the new developments for Michael Vick, the photo finish down at Daytona and the MLB All Star Game. Rich and Larry also remind folks that PromoMania is almost ready to kick off. Daryl Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution dropped by once again to talk about the new developments in the Michael Vick Dogfighting situation. Business is picking up with the feds involved and Ledbetter cautioned that while folks are relieved that Vick was not indicted ... noone has been at this point. Ledbetter also cautioned that is becoming very obvious that Vick did have knowledge of what was going on in that house. In addition to talking more about the PromoMania brackets ... Rich and Larry also got into the allegations by Kyle Busch that his teammates at Hendrick abandoned him and have no interest in helping him considering his lame duck status with the team. Double R feels that if this is true, Hendrick is way out of line ... and the team should be doing everything it can to help Busch win a championship. Larry feels that since Kyle is a lame duck ... Hendrick should not risk giving him any info that is vital to the team ... and he could take to the opposition next year.
Dave Rodman of NASCAR.com weighed in on the Kyle Busch situation and said that he feels a little too much may be being made of it at this point. He also touched on Tony Stewart and "how he can do no wrong". Rodman also feels that its just a matter of time before Clint Bowyer gets his first win and talked about the growing pains of Juan Pablo Montoya.
