Monday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... lots going on today including PromoMania, some FIGJAM bashing and NASCAR ... but the show kicks off with Double R telling horror stories from his nightmare yard sale over the weekend. It started with a 5:45 wake up nudge from his wife on Saturday morning and just went downhill from there. One lady actually brought back 2 VCRs that she had purchased for $1 claiming they didn't work. RR promptly threw them right in the trash ... along with a working stereo the psycho chick was looking at next. She left when Rich told her he would rather throw the stereo in the trash than sell it to her for any price. Never again ... will Rich participate in a yard sale.
Prior to the kickoff of PromoMania presented by Golf at Wintergreen Resort ... R&R ran down Standings in the Nascar Fantasy League ... highlighted by Larry's Teams miraculous climb back into the chase. After running down some results from earlier PromoMania matches ... Double R and the Legend get into the days matchups starting with the battle of former Teammates Patrick Kearney and The Dog Fighting versus Matt Schaub and The Big Plans. Up next was The Name Calling versus The Motion offense. Both close matchups during the on air voting ... we will see how it shakes out online.
The third matchup of the evening strikes a personal cord with Double R in an ironic matchup. The Storm Fantasy versus The Not Hitched ... another one too close to call in the early going.
Gary Graves of the USA Today dropped by to talk a little racing to wrap up the show.
