Mark Schlabach, Marty McNeal and NO Erin Andrews
Tuesday, 10 July 2007

Tuesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... the big news of the day is that Rich and Larry have pushed back the deadline for PromoMania and listeners now have 2 additional days to enter to win the Wintergreen Resort Golf getaway.  Danny Boy is back from vacation and screwing up the phones again ... and Luscious is a little "moody".

Marty McNeal of the Sacramento Bee checks in to preview tonite's All-Star Game.  McNeal has been covering Barry Bonds since his high school days and was somewhat defensive of all of the criticism Barry has been taking from the media.

Sportsline Historian Wesley May checked in with a History Moment and reminded everyone of 2006 when Double R got caught changing the online rules for the NASCAR Fantasy League.  FI Jone, owner of Hammertime Racing checks in to brag about his first place standing in the league as R&R run down standings.  Rich and Larry also touch on why the All-Star Game has lost the interst of fans.  Larry says the major reason is inter-league play ... while Rich feels that the lack of huge names and star power is too blame as well.

Mark Schlabach of ESPN dropped by to talk some college football on the show.  He ran down some of his predictions for the upcoming season and talked at some length about Tech (Glennon is the key) and UVA (he feels they will bounce back this season).

Erin Andrews was scheduled to join us today, but once again Danny is struggling with the phones.  R&R talk about the ESPY's, hear about Danny's Tom Brady Sighting up in Boston and search for a wager for the Sportsline Cup.
