Tuesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... R&R open the show talking a little MLB as the trading deadline has come and gone. The Braves and BoSox seem to have done the most to bolster themselves for a post season run, while Rich is somewhat surprised that the Yankees did absolutely nothing. More trade talk in the NBA, as KG heads off to Beantown to be part of an impressive 1-2-3 punch also featuring Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.
Nathan Rode of Baseball America dropped by to break down the trading deadline deals and told folks to expect to see some new teams making the playoffs each year. Rode said that in the NL Central he still sees the Cubs and maybe the Cards with an outside chance to catch the Brewers and also said that the activity at the deadline was a little more than he even expected. R&R bust on Danny Boy a little bit here too ... as Canteen Boy recently had his first golf lesson at Poplar Grove ... Finally!
Mark Garrow, voice of the Performance Racing Network dropped by to talk some racing, but the majority of the conversation centered around Tony Stewart and the potty mouth he displayed after winning at the Brickyard during a live interview on ESPN. Garrow said that Nascar is making an effort to stop drivers from using bad language ... however, is 25 point penalties the way to do it?
Rich and Larry wrapped up the show with more first round action in PromoMania. Today's action comes from the Danville region and features the 2 seed ... The Tennis Balls.
