A Slow Start in the New Digs, Sam Amico and David Poole
Friday, 06 April 2007

Monday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... the first show in the new studios got off to a bit of a slow start as some last second wiring by the engineers couldn't get the show on the air in time ... so listeners were treated to 30 minutes of the Best of The Sportsline!  Some would argue such a thing does not exist.

Finally R&R get to open the show from their new digs and hit on a whole host of topics ranging from LeBron James willing the Cavs into the finals ... to Eric "ManGenius" HC of the NYJ making a cameo appearance on The Sopranos.

Sam Amico of probasketballnews.com checked in to talk some hoops including the coming out party of LeBron James.  After a great performance by LeBron, Amico still feels the Spurs will take the title.  Amico also says that Stan Van Gundy will be the next coach in Orlando since Billy Donovan has backed out.

R&R wrap up the show with some NASCAR talk as Martin Truex Jr. wins his first Cup race on Monday after the Autism Speaks 400 up at Dover was postponed on Sunday do to rain.  David Poole of the Charlotte Observer checks in as well ... touching on the Kurt Busch - Tony Stewart conflict and speculates about the future of Dale Jr.  Says he expects an announcement by Junior at either Michigan or Daytona within the month.
