Monday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 12 days and counting until Double R gets out of his bet and can bash Tom Brady again ... but R&R kick it off today with the news that Sean Singletary will be sticking around in C'Ville for another year.  Double R is not at all suprised by the announcement, although Larry cautioned that you never know who has a kid's ear these days.

R&R next dive into the US Open and Tiger's record when he is chasing someone else in a major.  He is an 0-fer ... has never won a major without having the lead beginning the final round ... and now has had 2 straight chances to turn the tables and couldn't do it.  Rich also got into some Aaron Baadley bashing.  After seeing his interview after Saturday's round ... Double R wondered when someone with no experience in majors, playing with Tiger on the final day ... will actually admit to that and not claim that it is his time to win.  Nice Triple on number 1 Aaron ... and nice 80.  Guess it isn't your time after all huh?

Rich also dug up the audio of FIGJAM whining about the golf course after he missed the cut on Friday.  Larry began payment of his lost bet ... referring to Phil as FIGJAM ... and tried his best to defend the baby.

Jerry Ratcliffe, Sports Editor of the Charlottesville Daily Progress, dropped by to shed some more light on Sean Singletary sticking around for another year to play hoops for the Cavs.  Hootie said that Sean would have definitely stayed in the draft if he was guaranteed to be a first round pick ... but the uncertainty was definitely a major factor in him coming back to JPJ.

Jason Sobel of ESPN.com checked in to add to the conversation on the US Open.  Sobel said that Tiger's poor record in majors coming from behind is not that big a deal ... and it will only be a matter of time before he overcomes that perceived problem.  Sobel also said that FIGJAM should be good to go for the British Open in July ... and that the course at Oakmont was NOT dangerous.

Finally R&R had a chance to replay the latest commercial by the Comrade ... featuring Michael Vick's Dog Training Academy.  Great stuff ... make sure you hear it.
