Tuesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 4 more days until the Brady Bashing resumes ... but a lot going on today as Rich and Larry kick off the show with a little draft talk concerning the fact that it is better off to not be drafted in the NBA, than to be drafted in the second round. Not being drafted at all gives you much more freedom to find a good situation and fit, rather than having to try to catch on with only the team that drafted you. And of course, second round picks get no guaranteed money unless they make the team. R&R also promoted the poll question and PromoMania ... and Wes checked in with the news that Larry announced the conception of his second child. JR Reynolds, UVA hoops star checked in next to talk about the upcoming draft and his preparation for it. JR said that he didn't want to be told his strengths and weaknesses, nor did he want to hear about his possible draft status ... he just wanted to go out and play his game. Reynolds said the process has been fun, but he is looking forward to it being over. Also said he will not watch the draft. R&R both talk about "Living the Dream" as Larry cruises around in his new minivan ... hanging with his daughters at the McDonald's playground ... with all of the other MOTHERS!!!! Double R and the Legend also unveiled the brackets for PromoMania and broke down the number 1 seeds. Doug Doughty of the Roanoke Times dropped by to welcome the guys to Roanoke. He implored R&R to learn how to properly pronounce the names of the cities and towns around the area ... and they of course refused. R&R revealed that Doughty had made the field in PromoMania and talked about his minivan. Doug wrapped it up by talking about Sean Singletary's decision to stay at UVA. Dave Glenn of the ACC Area Sports Journal and 850 The Buzz down in Raleigh dropped by the show next. He too has a horse running in PromoMania. Dave also touched on the ACC and how it is being perceived as a down year for the conference ... but he expects between 5-7 ACC players to be drafted in the first round this year. The record for a conference is 8.
