Larry's New Ride, Jim Corbett, Jim Utter & Mike Garrow
Wednesday, 20 June 2007

Wednesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 10 days and counting as July is just around the corner.  The show kicked off with a little MMA and UFC talk as the comparisons to boxing and wrestling were made.  Evander Holyfield fighting again for the or a heavyweight title is in the news again.  Sportsline Historian Wes checked in with This Day in Sportsline History and Rich announced that Amanda Beard's appearance on the show and in Playboy caused an awkward moment with a new co-worker.

Jim Corbett, NFL writer for the USA Today dropped by to talk some football.  Much of the conversation focused on the Michael Vick dog fighting situation and the many off the field distractions in the league right now.

Larry also debuted his new ride ... The Ford Windstar.  Double R decides that there needs to be a poll question on that.

Jim Utter of the Charlotte Observer checked in to talk some NASCAR with R&R.  The birth of Jeff Gordon's baby girl means that he won't have to miss a race this weekend.  Utter also talked about how the addition of Little E will effect Rick Hendrick's fan base.  Plus for right now, Utter believes that even if Mark Martin makes the chase, he will not race in all 10 races as was previously determined.

Mike Garrow of the Fight Network dropped by to discuss his TV channel and talk a little more UFC.

R&R wrapped up the show throwing out some ideas for Vanity plates for the Legend's new ride and Jerod hollered out PIMPNHO.  Translation Pimpin' Ho.  Rich, Larry and Lil all wondered who exactly would be the Ho that Larry would be pimpin' ... His wife or one of his daughters?  Bluetooth tried to back out and pin his statement on Double R ... but noone was buying it.
