Friday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 15 days and counting ... but as the show kicks off, FIGJAM is on the ropes when it comes to the cut for the US Open. Rich also reveals that he played in his first SOBER captains choice golf tourney in awhile this afternoon at the Flames Club outing. Coach Rocco appeared to have no idea who Rich was as well. This Day in Sportsline History featured the 1999 controversy about how to get rid of a cat. The Professor suggested that Double R's idea was to put the cat into a blender. Rich didn't remember saying that, he thought a listener might have. Mike Duterich of the Pittsburgh Tribune joined R&R live from Oakmont. Mike joined into the conversation R&R were having about the USGA making golf courses too tough. He felt that Oakmont is not at all tricked up and that the player should just shut up and play. Mike also felt that Phil would prefer to not make the cut, so that he might have some time for his wrist to heal. A new sponsor is welcomed to The Sportsline ... Michael Vick's Dog Training Academy. The Comrade comes through again ... with special thanks to Amanda. Leilene Ondrade is the Fantasy Friday guest once again as she has made it into the finals of VH1's Charm School. Leilene talks about being a stripper with kids, what she will do with the cash if she wins, and Rich exposes her for not being the brightest bulb on the tree ... but who the hell cares, have you seen that body?!?!?!?! It's all over but the crying for FIGJAM (and he is doing that to the media)! Cabrera taps in a birdie on his 18h hole and Phil is headed home for the weekend. Larry will still not accept defeat until the tournament is over. Looks like he is becoming a sore loser already. We shall see. R&R wrap up the show with NASCAR Fantasy starters, standings and hearings. Everyone weighs in on Larry's penalty and the verdict is ... he gets to suspend K. Busch for this weekends race along with benching another driver. Justice? Only time will tell.
