Today on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 117 days and counting. Much more on the upcoming ACC Tournament and the situations of both Virginia Tech and Virginia. A new poll question has made it up onto the website ... wondering about UVA and Tech's chances to win the ACC Tourney. R&R busted on Dook and Gerald Henderson for his thuggish behavior in the waning seconds fo the Carolina game on Sunday. This Day in Sportsline History looked back one year to the day ... when Rich and Larry first got to play one of their top sound effects ... Ralph Sampson's fateful jam (sort of) at the closing ceremony of University Hall. A great sound effect that will surely be enjoyed for ages on the show ... compliments of former Sportsline correspondent Shady Sean. Larry announced on today's show that his wife wants him to get a Vasectomy so that he has no more offspring running around. This kind of puzzled Double R ... as he speculated that Jessica just keeps Larry's balls in a jar up in the cupboard to use whenever she needs them. Comrade ... who is becoming one disturbing dude ... wanted the procedure to be performed live in the studio! Rumors are circulating that he actually wanted to assist on the procedure ... without gloves. Rich and Larry next replayed a portion of Monday's interview with JR Reynolds ... and then ran down the post season honors and awards in the ACC. Virginia coach Dave Leitao was named the ACC Coach of the Year ... VT guard Jamon Gordon was voted ACC Defensive Player of the Year ... both Sean Singletary and Zabian Dowdell earned First Team All -ACC honors ... while JR Reynolds made the second team and Jamon Gordon made 3rd team. R&R got into a little more Bracketmania talk ... and got into the topic of Kiawah Island Resort's Ocean Course ... just named the toughest course in America by Golf Digest. A 3 day 2 night getaway will be the grand prize for Bracketmania this year. Chris Wallace of CavsCorner.com dropped by the show to talk a little Virginia Cavaliers. He speculated that it is impossible to predict how long UVA run could last, because an off game by Singletary and Reynolds will most definitely mean the end for the Hoos. Wallace did say however, that he felt that UVa has a better chance to go further in the NCAA tourney ... because ACC teams have seen the great guard duo on many occasions and will be more prepared for uva than some of the teams that will face them for the first time in the NCAA. Rich and Larry wrapped up the show with a listener email who is intrigued by the possibility of the Legend being sterilized live on the air ... but wondered why comrade is trying so hard to make it happen.
