Today on The Sportsline with Rich Roth and Larry Richmond 109 days and counting ... but it's bracket day on The Sportsline.  R&R will break down their brackets game by game in hour number 2 of the show with Curtis Staples ... but Rich gives a quick preview saying that he came this close to knocking out a one seed.  Wes checks in with This Day in Sportsline History.

Rich and Larry talk about the changing face of college hoops as so many of the traditional powerhouse teams are now so young ... and the older more experienced teams are the mid majors and the non-traditional powers from the BCS conferences ... teams like Virginia Tech.  Caller Harry checked in to see if R&R thought UVa had a chance against Albany.  Of course they have a chance Harry ... they're the f'ing 4 seed!!!!  That doesn't mean they will win though does it?

A quick preview of "The Broadcast from the Bunker" followed.  Larry got the news that since things went so smoothly with him back in the studio during the ACC Tourney ... that he would have to take another one for "Team Sportsline" and hold down the fort at the studio instead of hanging out in the bunker.  Larry confessed that he didn't go to Tampa because he didn't want to (that's what your looking for in a talk show host right?) but he did want to go to the bunker.

Former Uva Sharpshooter Curtis Staples joine R&R in the studio for hour 2 to breakdown the brackets.  Before diving into them, Curtis talked a little bit about UVa and Tech and how UVA needs to step it up and play hard for 40 minutes to succeed in the tourney ... something he said Tech does every time out.
