Larry the Dog Fighting Trainer, Mark Garrow and Darryl Ledbetter
Monday, 28 May 2007

Monday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... only 7 days and counting until R&R begin broadcasting from their new flagship station.  Double R and the Legend are live and in person on Memorial Day ... gotta do a show every day this week!  It looks like Mike Vick's hole is getting deeper as well.

Mark Garrow, Voice of the Performance Racing Network dropped by the show after what had to be a long night for him on Sunday.  He talked about the amazing finish with the top 5 finishers being guys that you would never expect to be in the top 5.  He also touched on the Dale Jr. saga ... and where he will wind up.  Mark's guess is Childress.

Back to the dogfighting ... the topic that just won't go away.   Darryl Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution dropped by to touch on the INFORMANT that reports that Mike Vick is definitely involved in Dog Fighting and wagers tens of thousands of dollars for each fight.  Doesn't look good for the former Hokie here ... and Larry brought up the good point that this informant said he first saw Vick fighting dogs and betting thousands in 2000 ... WHEN HE WAS STILL AT TECH.

Rich then exposed Larry as a dog fight trainer ... back from his days at LU when he had his pit bull hanging from trees on a regular basis.

The show wrapped up with Fantasy standings and Baseball standings.
