Today on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 48 days and counting ... but today's show opened with talk of the Players Championship and the victory by FIGJAM.  Larry suddenly was on board with considering this a major championship ... despite watching none of it.  Rich watched quite a bit, and really enjoyed it ... but determined that it wasn't quite up to the atmosphere of the majors.  R&R also got into the Sean O'Hair story ... with an abusive dad who reminded Double R of Stephano Capriati ... but O'Hair found some stability in the family of his wife who has changed his life.  Too bad he couldn't beat FIGJAM!  Larry also ran down AL East standings ... take a guess why!  Theeeeeee Yankees Suck ...

Steve Wyche of the Atlanta Journal Constitution joined R&R to talk about the trials and tribulations of one Michael Vick.   Wyche said he spoke with Ray Buchanon who denied ever making the statements about Vick's involvement and bankrolling of the dog fighting in VA.  Wyche said that Vick isn't really a bad guy ... but is having trouble getting things straightened out.  Falcons owner Arthur Blank is finally starting to crack down on Vick in fear of the NFL cracking down on him.  Tough situation for Bobby Petrino to walk into ... but welcome to the NFL.

Sean from Harrisonburg wins The TPC golf draft along with Larry and 4 greens fee passes to Poplar Grove Golf Club.  Sean says that he can't wait to check out the course and hope he isn't cursing architect Ed Carton too much.

More from Ponte Vedra and the TPC as Bob Harig of the St. Pete Times and ESPN.com dropped by the show.  He talked about the win for FIGJAM and how new swing coach Butch Harmon may have only had to tweak his swing rather than totally change it ... since the turnaround has apparently happended so quickly.  Harig said that the confidence from winning this tourney should really help Phil as he prepares for the US Open next month ... and said that O'Hair shouldn't be bothered too much after blowing up on 17 ... since he hit a good shot.  It wasn't a choke job.

R&R wrapped up the show with some Nascar talk.  Another win for Jeff Gordon and Hendrick Motorsports and another Gibbs driver is bitching about NASCAR and their caution flags ... Denny Hamlin, the runner up.  Plus R&R take a look at the final standings for season 1 of the fantasy league.  Dennis Carter and the 'Heart of Virginia' team capture the Ladies Division Championship after a first ever concession by JW.  

Bluetooth cheated again ... and will be docked points and drop to last in the Championship Division, the only way Larry doesn't finish in the basement.  The defending champ Greg finishes middle of the pack ... Double R makes a good run but finishes second ... and the new champ is ... David and Big Lick Tropical Grill.  Congratulations.
