Chris Long, Defensive End for the Virginia Cavaliers dropped by the
show once again this season to talk with R&R. Chris said that
it certainly hasn't been the type of season that he was hoping for when
it started off, but he said he is proud of the guys for battling back
after a very, very slow start. As for the rediculously difficult
finish...FSU, Miami & VT...he said he wouldn't have it any other
way. That's what you want when you sign up to play big-time
college football. He said that he wants to play the best.
Also
on today's show, Double R and the Legend previewed the upcoming 9th
Annual Song Parody Contest presented by Triangle Ford Mercury.
They ran down the items that are beginning to build up for the Silent
Auction to be held during the show, which will benefit Judah Berry and
his family. Click here to see a list of the items .
This
show also featured Jerod "BlueTooth" Brook's triumph. He got the
digits and delivered the goods. Erin Andrews, of ESPN Sideline
fame dropped by the show. R&R caught up with her on her cell
while she was shopping in Atlanta. Erin was great fun for the
guys to talk too, as she shared some great stories about always getting
lost with Kirk Herbstreit as they drive to games . . . she talked about
caring more about staying warm on the sideline that looking good for TV
(like she has ever not looked good on TV) . . . and she talked honestly
about the atmospher at Rutgers after the big upset over
Louisville. It was neat . . . but didn't come close to rivaling
the atmosphere at SEC games, like her beloved alma mater, the Florida
Gators.
