Natalie Gulbis drops by on Fantasy Friday and Mark Jones talks some Tech-Miami.
Friday, 03 November 2006

It was another great "Fantasy Friday" show on The Sportsline.  Mark Jones of ABC and ESPN kicked off the show to preview the Virginia Tech - Miami game.  While Jones said that the game certainly had some excitement, he conceded that it was not the game that most were hoping for at the beginning of the year.  Jones also said that the brawl with FIU was overblown and received too much national attention as a result of Miami being involved.

Rich and Larry talked some more about the game, and previewed FSU - Virginia as well.  Both Double R and the Legend liked FSU over Virginia, pretty easy . . . however the two were split on VT - Miami.  Larry took the Cane's, figuring that this would kind of be there last hoorah this year under Coker . . . while Rich, being the big Hokie that he is, took Tech.  Although Rich did point out, that he hoped Miami would knock off Tech, and then UVA would top Miami setting up a lot of talk from UVA fans heading into the showdown in Blacksburg.

Up next, Fantasy Friday featured Natalie Gulbis, who is quickly becoming the Anna Kournikova of the LPGA Tour.  Natalie is smokin' hot, featured in her own Calendar and even has her own reality TV show on The Golf Channel.  Natalie told R&R that she had no fear or concerns of letting her modeling or acting career overshadow her golf, and possibly prevent her from becoming the player she is capable of becoming.  She said that she is extremely competitive by nature, and her desire to compete and excel at golf will ensure that golf never takes a back seat to anything else.

Finally, Dan Grogan of Grogansports.com dropped by to talk some fantasy football.  In addition to the great advice Dan generally dishes out on the show, he once again managed to take a shot at Chad Pennington and the Jets, despite the fact that they had a bye week.
