The Boss is Back, Girl Trivia part Deux and the I guy, Ian Eagle
Wednesday, 01 November 2006

More details were released on today's show about the upcoming Song Parody Contest presented by Triangle Ford Mercury.  The big news about the 06 SPC though . . . is the return of The Boss.  Jeff "the Boss" Maxwell called in announce that he will defend his Elite Division Title from 2005.  His great tune "Blacksburg" from Bruce Springsteen's "The River" won the tix and trip for him in 2005 but The Boss said that he has still not picked a tune for this year . . . he did however conced that "Glory Days" is in the running.

Then it was onto Girl Trivia.  Candice and Mary squared off in the studio for a pair of tickets to the Redskins-Cowboys game this upcoming weekend.  There was controvery throughout the entire event, most of it stemming from Mary's contention that a Tight End did not necessarily need to be an eligible reciever.  Candice didn't know what a running back was . . . and neither knew who Daniel Snyder or the Big Tuna are.  In the end . . . it was Candice winning in a squeaker, with Mary leaving pissed off.

As a matter of fact, after Girl Trivia ended, Rich and Larry interviewed Ian Eagle of CBS Sports.  Mary was still bitching about her "tight end" issue and Double R and the Legend asked Ian to solve the question.  He of course revealed that Mary was wrong . . . and was kind enough to offer her Nets tickets.  Larry brought up Ian hosting the Cheerleader competition on the NFL Network.  Not a bad gig if you can get it.
