The Season is over . . . does Groh have to go?
Tuesday, 28 November 2006

Today on the show, R&R talked about the state of the UVa program, as the season is in the books and while coaches left and right are being sent packing including Chuck Amato down at NC State, Al Groh remains perfectly safe up in Charlottesville.

Callers weighed in during the first hour of the show . . . and offered no support for Groh.  Doug Doughty, UVA writer for the Roanoke Times offered some interesting insight as well.  He maintained that Groh totally intimidates all of his superiors up in C'ville, and that the president and AD at UVA are too scared to fire coach Groh.

Also on the show, we checked in live from Seattle with Mike Sando of the Tacoma News Tribune to preview MNF.  Mike talked about Alexander and Hasselbeck coming back from their injuries and the fact that the Seahawks may be a little fat and happy and not quite as motiviated as they need to be following their impressive run last year.  He did however pick the Seahawks to knock off the Packers.
