Football Night in Chestnut Hill - Double R Nails the Pick!
Thursday, 12 October 2006

Lots of Hokie talk on this show, as Tech had a huge game on national TV up in Mass. against Boston College.  Former Washington Redskin LB Pete Cronan, who is also the long time color analyst for BC Football joined Rich and Larry prior to kickoff.  He said that if it turned into a trackmeet, the Eagles have no chance.  If they could wage the battle in the trenches . . . he felt BC stood a better chance of winning the game.

Kyle Tucker of the Virginian Pilot also dropped by the show live from Alumni Field prior to kickoff.  Kyle also picked the Hokies, and talked a little bit about the latest suspension of Josh Hyman.  When are the Hokies gonna learn?  tailing a cop car when you are drunk off your ass?  not too smart huh?

Kyle and Larry also have Tech winning this game, a game in which they both agree that the Hokies season is on the line.  Rich disagreed on several fronts.  Double R took the Eagles in this one, saying that the youth and inexperience of Sean Glennon would lead to a key mistake or two, which BC would  capitalize on for the win.
