Jason Snelling, RB for the Cavaliers dropped by the show on Tuesday to talk with Rich and Larry. First question Rich asked him was "how does it feel to be responsible for getting a coach fired?" referring to John Bunting getting the ax following UNC'S loss to UVA. Snelling said that he felt bad that it worked out that way, but he is out their to win football games. Jason also told Rich and Larry that Jameel Sewell is really coming into his own as a QB and a leader and that the offense is starting to click.
Randy Cross, color analyst for CBS Sports coverage of the NFL talked with Double R and the Legend again about the NFL as we approach the halfway point of the season. The Cowboys were a big topic of conversation coming off the debacle that was MNF Football against the Giants. Drew Bledsoe got benched at halftime following another pick on the goal line at the end of the first half. Cross said that if you throw left when the play is designed to go right, as was the case when Bledsoe through the pick, you have some serious questions to answer with the coach. Guess Drew gave the wrong answer huh?
Also, more info was forthcoming on the 2006 Song Parody Contest. This year it will be a 2 night mega-event, with the best of the best live at Cattle Annie's on Tuesday November 21. Triangle Ford Mercury will once again be the Title Sponsor of the event.
