Xavier Adibi, Tony Franklin and more on Trisha stealing Mason.
Tuesday, 31 October 2006

It was Halloween on The Sportsline . . . so Rich and Larry decided to trot out some Girl Trivia for a pair of Tickets to the upcoming Redskins-Cowboys game this weekend.

Also on the show, Xavier Adibi, the star linebacker for the Virginia Tech Hokies dropped by the show.  He said that the atmosphere at Lane Stadium on Thursday against Clemson was the best he has ever been a part of at Tech . . . along with last year's home game with Miami.  Obviously, Xavier preferred the outcome this year.  He also talked about the upperclassmen showing great leadership in rallying the team after a poor performance on and off the field at Boston College.  Finally, Adibi talked about the upcoming game against Miami and how the Canes very much resemble the Hokies in terms of attitude and the situation they were in this past Thursday against Clemson.

Also on the show, Tony Franklin, the senior DB for the Cavs talked with Double R and the Legend.  He made the game winning pick for UVA as they knocked off NC State this past Saturday.  The Cavs have now won 2 in a row and Franklin told the guys that the team is starting to really come together after getting off to a brutal start.  Tony also said that he was surprised by Coach Groh's attitude during the slow start which included a home loss to Western Michigan and a road loss at ECU, in that Groh never got negative and was very upbeat and encouraging throughout the dry spell.

Early in the show, Rich and Larry had some fun at Rich's percieved poor parenting.  Rich still thinks that his wife Trisha should be ashamed of herself for stealing their youngest child Mason, and freaking Double R out in a croweded hallway.
