Today on the show, Rich and Larry hit on a whole host of subjects, spending the most time on the Virginia Cavaliers. It was another brutal loss for the Cavs, down in Greenville. As Rich pointed out . . . "its bad enough to be nearly a touchdown underdog to an East Carolina team with a losing record...but to have them easily cover the spread is downright offensive." So it went for the better part of the first hour, as R&R took some calls from UVA fans who have all but given up on the season. The burning question for Larry was "How many more wins do the Cavs get?". Rich's answer "Who really cares if you are talking about a total of 3 or 4 wins on the season."
Also on Monday's show, Rich and Larry talked plenty of NFL. Rich took a few shots at TO after he did his thing during and after the Cowboys loss to Philadelphia. The Redskins allegedly had their offensive problems cured after last weeks explosion against Jacksonville . . . although the Giants proved that theory dead wrong.
The guys also had a little fun at the Yankees expense, as the Tigers took 3 straight from NY after dropping the series opener. Larry proclaimed to be "Back" as a baseball fan . . . as the sport is now fun again for him. There was a little talk about AROD and the possible dismissal of manager Joe Torre as well.
