Wednesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... 34 days and counting 'til The 2007 Song Parody Contest ... Larry once again falls into his predictable "Whoa Is Me" Routine with the Red Sox, saying that they are done and will be lucky to win just one more game. He also took responsibility for their collapse, claiming that his searching for WS Tix jinxed his squad. Also, R&R look ahead a little bit at the 2007 Song Parody Contest and played a tune from 2006. Barry Bonds ex Mistress, Kimberly Bell joine R&R on The Sportsline. Ms. Bell is currently featured in the November issue of Playboy Magazine ... revealing everything in words and pictures. Said she need to set the record straight that she was not a gold digging whore and became involve with BB when he was single and hoped they had a future together. She also said that she did not mean to hurt Bonds when she revealed his sexual inadequecies (YEAH RIGHT!) but she needed to offer up evidence that she had of his steriod use. She wants her message to get out so that other young girls won't fall into the same situation as her ... blah, blah, blah. Rich tells her she has a great body as he stares at the nude pics of her ... and she asks him if he will be getting up anytime soon. R&R also talk a little USF-Rugters. Everyone thinks Rutgers will upset USF ... except Larry. R&R take a quick look at the new lines on Pigskin Pick'em and rip Slappy for another pathetic week. Then Jerry Ratcliffe, sports editor for the Charlottesville Daily Progress checks in to talk some UVA football. Jerry speculated that despite the great run the Cavs are on ... it is realistic that they struggle down the stretch and only win 2 more games. After the great start ... how disappointing would that really be to UVA fans? Hootie also thinks that something odd is going on behind the scenes with the UVA QB situation ... not sure exactly what it is though. Cavs track record in College Park is poor, though Maryland's injuries give the Cavs some hope, and Hootie also reports that Cedric Peerman will not play again this week. Should the Cavs beat Maryland ... the VT Game in December could be for the ACC Title Game Berth. Rich and Larry wrapped up the show with some thoughts on ABC and ESPN banning Jimmy Kimmel from MNF for his comments about Joe Theisman. |
