Tom Santi, Ben Walker and Pigskin Pick'em Results
Tuesday, 02 October 2007
Tuesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... The Legend is back after a day off and the guys start off talking a bunch of football including UVA and Tech and they tease the upcoming segment in which they will determine which team is better right now.  R&R also announce real quickly the 5 weekly winners for Pigskin Pick'em.

Rich and Larry follow up with more Pigskin Pick'em results including the posting of the results from the staff's contest in which Rich blew away the rest of the field with 14 correct picks against the spread.  Not too shabby huh?  Double R and the Legend also talk some MLB on the eve of the playoffs as the Rockies completed their unbelievable run to make the post season and the Mets had a collapse for the ages.

Rich and Larry talk some more Cavs football as the team really seems to be coming around, although that season opening beatdown at Wyoming is still very difficult for most to shake.  Tom Santi, TE for the Cavs drops by the show to talk about the team and the upcoming game against MTSU.  Santi shocks the guys by revealing that he has actually been to Murfreesboro TN when he was a kid ... growing up just 30 minutes away in Nashville.  Not much going on in Murfreesboro Santi admitted.  One game at a time ... blah blah blah, but Santi did say that he loves playing TE at UVA as they are used in very creative ways.

Ben Walker of the AP joined R&R to talk a little baseball on the eve of the playoffs ... Ben's favorite day of the year.  Walker says the NL sucks ... and even thought they choked, the Mets still might be the best team in the NL.  Walker is sticking with his pick of Anaheim to win it all, and thinks ARod might actually step up in the postseason after a great regular season.
