Tuesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... more on the Cheaters, aka The Patriots and Belichick stealing defensive signals. What a scumbag!!! claims Rich. R&R also recap the MNF action and get ready for the Final Four in PromoMania. Double R also found a neat new website, coacheshotseat.com, where Al Groh is rated for the second straight week as the number 1 coach on the hot seat. Lloyd Carr of Michigan is 2 and Charlie Weis of ND is 3rd. Website has all of Groh's vital stats, including terms of contract and possible buyout. Could the BOG Fund be back???
Cedric Peerman, star running back for the Cavs dropped by the show to recap his big week against Dook as UVA picks up its first win of the season. Peerman said that despite the brutal performance out in Wyoming, the team is rallying together and still feels like its got a lot to play for this year. Peerman also was excited about his impressive game against Dook, but gives a bunch of credit to the offensive line for coming together.
PromoMania Final Four ... The Coach Groh vs. The Shepherd and The Ass Expert vs. The Waterboy. Coach Groh vs. The Shepherd is too close to call ... while the Waterboy jumps out to a big lead early.
CBS Sports play-by-play man Ian Eagle checked in to talk some football ... and Tennis??? Ian covered much of the US Open for CBS and loved the competitiveness on the men's side this year. Ian also talked about the Pats-Jets and the scandal which is beginning to blow up, and also talked about the injury to Kevin Everett of the Buffalo Bills, who's game he has this upcoming week against Pittsburgh.
