Sam Huff, Bobb Hebert & More Elite 8 PromoMania Action
Thursday, 06 September 2007
Thursday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... The NFL season kicks off tonite and The Sportsline has it covered.  Plus, R&R reveal the results of yesterday's PromoMania matchups from yesterday ... including The Coach Gillen knocking off Darnell and The Shoutout.

Sam Huff, legendary Hall of Fame linebacker and one of the members of the Redskins broadcast team dropped by to talk some football.  Huff talked about how there are so many coaches on each team these days, that they really overcoach players and don't just let these guys go out and play.  Sam also talked about the Skins, and what they need to do to have a successful season ... and feels that they will wind up with a 10-6 record.

More PromoMania action as R&R look to fill the final 2 spots in the final four.  The Waterboy took on The Apologist and The Drunken Intruder faced The Ass Expert.

Bobby Hebert, former Saints QB and now a broadcaster for the team dropped by to preview the season opener as the Saints take on the Colts in Indy.  Hebert expected a big offensive showing and a lot of points to be scored.  He feels that this really could be another big year for the Saints, and with all of their weapons on offense and an improved D ... this could be the best team in the NFC.
