Tuesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... the guys talked about the big win on MNF for the Redskins, and the possibilities at QB for Jason Campbell. Looking around the league, there are a lot of teams that feel like they have their QB for the future, and a lot is expected of most of them. R&R pointed out though, that it is impossible for them all to be great, so we will have to wait and see how it all shakes out. Things aren't looking good for McNabb and Philly starting out 0-2, and the timing couldn't be worse for his comments on being criticized more because he is a black QB.
Jeffrey Fitzgerald, DL for the Virginia Cavaliers joined R&R next. Fitzgerald said that he is somewhat disappointed with the play of the Defense, although can see it improving as the execution continues to improve. The Cavs are focused on stopping the run against GT on Saturday and staying away from 3rd and short situations.
Mark Maske of the Washington Post checked in to talk some Skins and NFL. He wound up trapped in the middle of Rich and Larry going at it with the Jets-Pats, Belicheck - Mangini situation. R&R continued battling over SpyGate for the remainder of the show ... even getting Darnell and Slappy involved.
Rich and Larry also had their first opportunity to sit down and meet Slappy on the air. He is acutally ahead of the game at school causing RR to wonder if he might be gifted. Slappy then reminded the guys that he attends Liberty ... putting that issue to rest.
