Chris Long, Jim Ducibella, VA DA Piles on Vick & Interns Now in Pigskin Pick'em |

Tuesday on The Sportsline with Rich and Larry ... more trouble for Michael Vick as the Commonwealth of Virginia has indicted the former Hokie on its own Dogfighting charges. Rich feels that this is 'piling on' to some extent. Vick has already plead guilty and will be serving time in federal prison, these new charges are unnecessary according to Double R. Rich and Larry also talk about the Pigskin Pick'em contest.
Chris Long, the All American DL for the Virginia Cavaliers drops by the show. Chris talked about bouncing back from the loss to Wyoming, the 3-0 start in the ACC, the freak interception return and how Jeffrey Fitzgerald has a knack for finding the endzone and how impressed he is with the Cavs offensive line. Long also said that Coach Groh was comparing this team to one of his best ... the team that beat WVU in ... THE TIRE BOWL! Rich and Larry had some fun with that. Boy ... those were the days huh?
Rich and Larry spend a little more time on the NEW charges brought against Vick before checking in with Jim Ducibella of the Virginian Pilot to talk some Redskins. Things were looking so good for the Skins after the big win on MNF against Philly ... then the pathetic loss the Giants when they couldn't punch the ball in on 4 chances from the one yard line. Duce believes that the inexperience of Jason Campbell was a factor in the play calling on that final series.
Slappy started running his mouth as R&R announced this weeks winners of the Pigskin Pick'em. That led Rich and Larry to lay down an edict ... that along with the two of them, all interns would be required to participate in the Pigskin Pick'em and put their money where their mouth is. Put up or shut up time baby!
R&R wrapped up the show playing the audio of the meltdown of the Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy, as he went off on a columnist who he claimed got almost 75% of her facts wrong. Pretty entertaining stuff.
