These songs and performances weren't quite enough to win their respective contests but certainly are worth taking a listen to. Most of these songs are pretty damn good for the amateurs that write and perform them. One however, will always continue to take us back to our roots. An unknown artist performed her version of the TV Sitcom "The Facts of Life" theme song. "The Wahoos and the Hokies Too" gives everyone a good laugh each year . . . but it reminds us of where this contest has come from and how much it has evolved over the years. 2001
