BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.                                                                 1998

   Dan "The Beast" Severan was in studio today promoting "The Battle of the Seven Hills" taking place at The City Armoury. An early version of what we call today Ultimate Fighting. Early in the shows history Larry showed us he could get big name guest for the show, over the past couple of years he has let his protege Jerod "Blue Berry" Brooks take over some of that responsibility, and let's just say, some guys can, and some guys can't deliver the goods.

   Today all of the UVA fans were calling in happy as little school girls. GEORGE WELSH RETIRES!! 99% of the calls were positive, most saying they could not wait for a new coach who would be able to take them to the promised land, a land flowing with 10 or 11 wins. A land where National Championships were talked about openly. A Land where UVA would be able to beat the cross state rivals. A land where 8 wins was not the benchmark of a great season anymore............And then came Al Groh. So after 7 long years are you happy UVA fans? I mean the ones that actually are still hanging on to the ship. And if you want to bring up this year, just look up the word "Aberration" and get back to me after next season. I heard a wise man say once "Even a blind Squirrel finds a nut now and then"
