CAN YOU F***ING BELIVEVE WHAT THAT F***ING PATRIOT FAN F***ING SAID
                                                                2006

Rich and Larry are always coming up with fun ways to give, and to win stuff on their show. Today was no different. This was a scavenger hunt for tickets to the UNC vs UVA basketball game. I know, I know, but at least you could see one good team if you went to the game. The way the game worked was listeners could call in and ask one question, a "yes" or "no" question about the location of the tickets. Example, Are the tickets in Lynchburg? If they were you got a yes, if not a no. You could call and ask as many question as you wanted, but only one question per call. After being led to the Dairy Queen in Timberlake and a few other places along the way most of the people playing wound up at Big Licks. At this point if you were just at Big Licks to have a nice dinner in a comfortable atmosphere you might have been wondering why several seemingly grown men were wandering around the restaurant looking under tables, in the top of giant fake palm trees and in every other nook and cranny. Of course like clock work I was unable to get a question thur so I could narrow down the location, "shenanigans" is what we call it here at the archives. So with a little help from his friends and maybe even from me, Dave was able to spot the tickets in the front lobby. And what a lucky guy, getting to go see the UNC Tarheels play some other team in Charlottesville.

If you have ever wondered what a real Patriot fan is like, Rich was able to clue you in today. On the television during a game we always see the Patriot fans smiling and laughing and holding up their little children decked out in their Patriot clothes. Never a glimmer of what really lies beneath. Under protest from Larry Rich played an audio tape he received from an anonymous source of a "real" Patriot fan. Listen to this , but if you happen to have any young children in the room, you might want to send them to a neighbors house before you do.
